Hi friends! Happy first of August! It’s somehow hard to believe that we are in August already. The summer has been intensely warm here in Finland, a thousand times warmer and longer than the Finnish summer usually is. So in all honesty? I am kind of waiting for the temperatures to drop already (somewhere around the 70s would be nice).

Today I’m joining Anne In Residence to share about some current things in my life. You should join us, I think it would be fun!

Following people on Instagram who post their bullet journal spreads. I am loving bullet journaling, which is somewhat surprising me.

Ordering books — or rather, looking at books to order and read for the fall. I know life will be busy and somewhat crazy at times with work and ministry taking most of my times. Which is why I’m setting out to get some books that will make me stop and read for a moment.

Pinning all the food that I want to be making once the temperatures drop. Honestly, this summer has been like no summer before. Because it is constantly hot, my diet consist mainly of salads these days. So I’m looking forward to those days when I cook something on the stove and not die from the heat.

Watching Anne with an E, finally. I read Anne of Green Gables a few month ago and since then, I have seen people recommend the Netflix series. So I finally started to watch Anne with an E. I am only a few episodes in; but I am definitely captivated by this series.

Counting the gifts of grace that God gives, once again. In a season of busyness and spiritual warfare, I picked up Ann Voskamp’s One Thousand Gifts and re-read it once again. So I started jotting down these gifts God keeps pouring on me, and giving thanks for each one. This one, it totally changes my attitude.

  1. I love following bullet journal Instagram accounts! Mine never gets quite that fancy, but it’s still fun to see the creative inspiration. And I was afraid that as a big fan of the previous Anne of Green Gables film adaptation (from the 1980s, I think?!) that I wouldn’t like the Anne with an E version, but the scenery really captivated me too. Haven’t started season 2 yet – I hope it’s as good as season 1!

    1. I definitely don’t have that creative skill in me; but I love looking at all those beautiful bullet journal accounts on Instagram. I just finished season 1 of Anne with an E and I will be starting season 2 very soon! 🙂 Thanks for visiting here, Anne.

  2. I love seeing how people do their planners and bujos. If you ever share yours on your blog, you should link up with me on the third Thursday of every month. It’s called Keep It Together and all about planners, scrapbooks, etc. I haven’t seen Anne with an E, but I have heard good things!
