Hi, friend! How has your new year started? Are you on top of your goals and resolutions? Did you even make any resolutions for this year?

I went back to work yesterday. After two weeks of holiday + rest, waking up at 6am wasn’t exactly easy! This week is quite packed full otherwise, too. I have to take my car to the car repair shop because it makes an awful noise right now when you start the engine. There is also a doctor’s appointment scheduled for this week. Still, I am so far feeling good about 2018!

Today, I am joining Anne In Residence to update you on what my life holds currently. I recommend going over to her blog and seeing all that is going on in the new year. Or even better yet, join us and update us on what is going on in your life currently!

Starting the process of searching for a job. I am graduating whenever I finish my Master’s thesis, which I am hoping to finish in the next couple of months. So I am coming to the end of one season and not exactly knowing what the next season holds — which is turning out to be a bit terrifying.

I have already been offered a full-time permanent job where I work now. But it’s two hours up north from my hometown, and leaving my church is not an option for me. (Making it to church only once a week during my internship was already very hard for me. So imagine having to leave my church!) I’m praying for God’s leading to be clear while I search for where my place will be. I have already a couple possibilities lined up. I would greatly appreciate it if you would pray for this with me.

Hoping to be able to listen to God’s voice and do all that He has put in my heart for the new year. I know this means having to put my selfish desires aside, and trust that God will provide strength and inspiration.

Scheduling more blog posts for the coming year. See here for more.

Reading In the Middle of the Mess by Sheila Walsh. This one is turning out to be a great book. A book review is coming up soon! I also ordered None Like Him by Jen Wilkin and I am looking forward to reading that soon.

Playing WildFire – EP by Urban Rescue. Love this album, and the lyrics of these songs are so wonderful. I highly recommend listening to this album!
