Friend, I don’t know where you are today. But what I’m seeing here around me, is tired hearts. Souls looking for rest. So today I come to you with Scriptures. Scriptures that, hopefully, help you find rest for your soul. I pray that you will stop with me now, just for a little bit. Read these verses and speak them to your heart, to your soul. Be blessed, my friend.
Find Rest For Your Soul
Matthew 11:28-30 — “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Hebrews 4:9-11 — “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.”
Psalm 28:6 — “Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications!”
Psalm 29:11 — “The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.”
Psalm 37:5-7a (NLT) — “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.”
Mark 6:30-31a — “Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.“
Isaiah 30:15 — “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
