In She Prays, Debbie Lindell invites you on a 31-day journey to experience a confident and conversational relationship with your heavenly Father. The first part of the book focuses on praying with understanding. It goes through some aspects of the why and how of prayer. Who do we pray to — our heavenly Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit?
The second part focuses on praying with knowledge. Here, Debbie Lindell discusses important topics that are related to prayer, such as forgiveness and temptation. These are topics that add to your knowledge but also your understanding of prayer and why we need to pray.
The third part focuses on trust. This part focuses more on different seasons and struggles of life, such as anxiety or feeling distant from God. Finally, the fourth part of the book focuses on praying with power.
She Prays by Debbie Lindell is a wonderful devotional that focuses on aspects of prayer. She Prays would be a great book to give to those who are new in Christ. Every devotion has a Bible verse, and often the devotions consider a passage in the Bible. Debbie Lindell also offers personal stories and examples related to the topic of the devotion. This is a good 31-day devotional but I would recommend it more for those who are new in Christ.
