10 Scriptures to give you hope

It was the perfect day for exploring.

There are those days when the hurt runs deep — of things said or things done, of the expected and unexpected trials, of the hardships and burdens placed on your shoulders. There are those days when everything changes; and those days when nothing changes. There are the seasons of waiting, and the season when everything happens at once. All these, they can leave feeling like you just cannot go on, like you cannot take any more. No matter where we are, we usually do need these words of hope to encourage on, to make us able to stand firm and say to the Lord, “I trust You. Whatever comes, I trust You.”

So here are some Bible verses that carry me over the difficult days, that remind me of the glorious hope we have with the Lord. I pray that you will be able to find encouragement, comfort, and hope here as well.

Isaiah 41:10 — “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 — “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 — “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Isaiah 43:18-19  — “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 — “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Isaiah 61:1 — “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound”

Jeremiah 29:13 — “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Psalm 130:7 — “O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.”

Isaiah 43:2,4 — “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you”

Isaiah 54:10 — “For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.”
