Currently July 2018

Once again I’m joining Anne In Residence to share what is currently going on in my life. Come and join us!

Currently: July 2018

Celebrating moving into a new apartment today! I am changing rentals, going from a studio apartment to a 2-bedroom apartment. I spent last week renovating the apartment, taking down wallpaper from three rooms and painting them white. With that and work, there was barely time for sleep and nothing else… So I’m really excited to be done and finally move in to the new apartment!

Visiting Sweden later this month. July comes with the Scandinavian Conference for our church — and I’m looking forward to it once again. It is such a sweet thing to gather with the churches from the countries around us, and to share what God is doing in each place. I’m also looking forward to the great teachings and times of worship that will come.

Baking all the summery baked goods soon, I hope. In the midst of renovating and moving, I haven’t been making much food. (And I am super thankful for Dad who kept feeding me almost on a daily basis.) Now I am starting to settle into my new apartment, which means that soon there is time to bake up a storm. Right now I have my eyes on rhubarb & apple coconut crispstrawberry lemon curd, and lemon mascarpone tart with raspberries.

Wearing long sleeves again. May and June were beautiful and warm; but after the Midsummer the weather has been cooler. Definitely no shorts here.

Loving bullet journaling right now. After admiring people’s bullet journals for such a long time, I realized I could try one myself. So I bought a 40-sheet grid dot journal to try it out — and I love bullet journaling! Of course, I am a beginner and only time will show whether I will stick to it.

  1. Congrats on the new place! Moving/repainting is definitely a lot of work, but rewarding in the end, isn’t it? And I wasn’t so sure about the bullet journal myself – I loved the idea of it but wasn’t sure I’d stick with it. Now I’m a year in and loving it! I think the key is setting it up/adapting it in a way that works for your life and your personality. Here’s how I did mine 🙂

    1. Yes, moving and repainting and that all is so much work but it is wonderful to get to settle up in a new place. I’m glad to hear that you’ve been able to stick with the bullet journal as that’s what I’m wondering right now. Thank you for visiting here, Anne!
