Happy May, friends! It’s hard to believe that we are in May already! (Although I feel like I’ve said that about every month this year…) Today I am joining Anne In Residence one again to share the what is currently going on in my life. Come on over and join us as well!
This year, May looks so different as I am finally finished with school. I am not yet a licensed speech therapist either, but the paperwork is in the process. I cannot work with my clients before I get licensed. Therefore there will be quite a few days off, until I get my license. It isn’t the easiest, not knowing exactly when I get my license and therefore not knowing exactly when I am starting work.
Currently: May 2018
Celebrating finishing one season and starting another season of life. It’s kind of scary that I am supposed to be like an adult now, with a permanent job and everything… Even though I have been looking forward to graduating these past five years, I’m still not exactly ready for it.
Creating all sorts of schedules for this adult life now, haha. It will be different, being on a nine-to-five schedule all week now. It’s so different from the University, where all my days and schedules changed constantly. So now I’m creating a schedule for my work, as well as taking care of the apartment and myself. Ministry also takes time, so it feels like scheduling is the word for the season.
Wearing floral shirts because spring is finally here! I love floral shirts and dresses, especially for spring and summer. So I’m excited it’s that time of the year I get to wear them again. I’m also excited to be pulling my distressed jeans out of the closet. Yay for warmer weather!
Sharing a weekly link-up over here on Tuesdays from now on. It’s good to be finally in the place where I have enough time to host a weekly link-up, as I’ve been looking forward to it for some time now.
Going to Spain in a few weeks. I have actually never been to Spain before, though I have travelled around most of Europe so far. So I am very excited to be going to Spain for a week, and seeing all the sights and eating all the food. I mean, that sounds pretty wonderful, right?
