Happy Tuesday, friends! I am coming in today with a quote and just that. This week is a busy one, and this Tuesday is an extremely busy one with a full day of work and a ministry meeting that takes up the whole evening. My goodness, it really is such a busy season right now.
I don’t know what kind of season you are in right now. Maybe you need the reminder that it’s okay to rest. Sometimes God tells you to wait, and that is okay, too. That’s why I wanted to share this quote from Elisabeth Elliot. I so love this quote, and I keep coming back to it time and time again. Maybe it is something that speaks to you right now as well. However, in all seasons choosing obedience through trust will benefit us.
“I realized that the deepest spiritual lessons are not learned by His letting us have our way in the end, but by His making us wait, bearing with us in love and patience until we are able to honestly to pray what He taught His disciples to pray: Thy will be done.” (Elisabeth Elliot)
I pray that you are having a great Tuesday today, friends. Be blessed!

Ohhhh, that is so good! I have never read this before. Thanks so much for sharing. I think my heart needed it 🙂
Waiting is rarely one of our strengths. But what a glorious spiritual discipline it can be! Thanks for sharing this quote, Ronja.
Patience is something I am still working on! What a beautiful quote!
Waiting and rest … our flesh fights it, doesn’t it? Love the quote!
Blessings to you!
